Hey guys.

My name's Joe Jenkins from Dallas, Tx. I am completely new to airsoft, this board, and the airsoft community. I really look forward to getting to know some of you guys, learning from you, and just plain old having fun.

Some background on me: Sergeant in the Marine Corps from 04-09 with a tour in OIF from 07-08 and other small humanitarian Operations in Central America and Haiti. I live with my wife in Richardson, Tx, and I am a student at UT Dallas using my GI Bill. I enjoy tabletop wargaming, reading fiction, boxing, and golf. I want to add airsoft to that list, and i need your help!!

The gun I will be starting of with is a simple CYMA 041B. Nothing too fancy. I still have all my old utilities, both digital and desert marpat, along with boonie and garrison covers, my ESS ICE ballistic glasses, combat boots, my LBV and cartridge belt (before they stopped issuing them), my camelbak, and my 3 point sling. I figure I have everything I need already. Anyone have any suggestions on anything else to pick up before I go to an event?

I am looking forward to getting to know you guys, and I am sure I will be learning enough about airsoft to fill volumes while I am here at NTA. Here's to hoping for some good new friends and a lot of fun.

Welcome Sir! It is always good to see military servicemen in this sport, we have a growing group of these great men in the community and they contribute a great deal. I thank you for your service and thank you for joining one of the best sports around (in my opinion). If my experience is anything to judge by you will heartily enjoy yourself.
