Events Schedule Usage Guidelines Note that the title is "Guidlines" not rules.
Just a few pointers to make this forum more useful and user friendly.
1. Subject heading should include location and date.
2. "Sticky" or "Announcment" status can and should be used. As a rule of thumb, use "Announcement" for DFW area games and "Sticky" for games in outlying areas. Mini-Ops or special games should be "Announcements" wherever they are.
3. Please use the calendar function at the bottom of the page when making your post.
4. Please include all pertinent information in your post: date, time, location, fee (if any) and any other important information.
5. Include directions to the field. Most here are regulars and know where all the fields are, but we get new people every week asking for directions. A link to a page with directions is all that is needed.
6. Within one week of the event passing, edit your post to remove the "Sticky" or "Announcment" status.
7. If you need to make changes to the date or place of the event, edit your post, including the subject line and include the words *DATE CHANGED* or *LOCATION CHANGED* in the subject line. Also post a reply to bring it to everyone's attention.
